I picked this foundation to try purely because of how many shades it had to offer (12 shades), so I could get a shade closer to my natural skin tone (I chose N2 Vanilla). I brought this from Superdrug for £9.99. I wasn't overall too impressed with the product. It is very oily, so I wouldn't recommend this for anyone with oily skin! However this means, you only need a small amount- a little goes a long way. Considering how oily it was, it did stay on for longer than I initially thought it would. I recommend buying a pressed powder to apply to your face after this foundation, as it can make your face look shiny/greasy. I applied it using a foundation brush, and then dabbed over the top with a sponge to blend it in, it did look even and smooth, and made my face feel soft. But this foundation doesn't give the best coverage, so I did have to use quite a bit of concealer to cover up my freckles and blemishes. It's a bit too oily for me, and doesn't last long enough through the day as I'd want it too, therefore I wouldn't be purchasing this again. I now use the rest of this foundation on days where I just need to pop out somewhere.

VO5 Ultimate Hold Hair Spray 400ml
Despite Vo5 being a very popular brand, I thought the hairspray would of been great! I purchased this item from Superdrug for £3.05 (400ml), which is more than what I normally pay for hairspray (I normally pay roughly £2-£2.50). I had high hopes, and was extremely disappointed with the results. One of the worst hairsprays I have ever purchased. It holds my hair in place for about 5-10 minutes, before it returns to being floppy and fly-away! I tested it on my hair on a windy day, and I might as well of not put anything on, considering it's supposed to be 'weather resisitant', I wasn't very impressed. However my friend has used it and says it's 'ok', but it's nothing compared to my normal hairspray (Silvikrin- classic). The only good points I found about the Hairspray is that it doesn't make your hair feel hard or sticky like some hairsprays, and it does brush out easily. It also smells quite nice, however I will not be purchasing this again.

Simple Spotless Skin Triple Action Face Wash
As a teenager, I haven't got the best skin ever, it is quite spot prone. Therefore I have to be careful with what I put on my face, and how I remove it at night. I have tried various ways of removing makeup before bed including, wet wipes, cleansers and toners, and all different types of face washes and exfoliators, but this is by far the best product I have ever come across. Its quick, easy, and removes every single bit of makeup leaving skin fresh before you go to sleep. I purchased this product from Bodycare at £1.99 (150ml), however you can buy it from Superdrug for £3.99. It has a gel consistency with very few tiny exfoliator balls in it, which is great for my sensitive skin as it isn't harsh on the skin and doesn't leave it sore like most exfoliators. First I quickly remove any eye makeup with a wet wipe/face wipe. I then dab water on my face and apply a small blob of the Simple face wash to my face and massage it in circles, I then wash it all off using warm water, and dab my face dry afterwards. This has became my every night routine for about 6 months, and I love it! My spots suddenly started to dissapear within a week of using it, and it doesn't dry my skin out! Such a great product, no other face washes I have tried even come close! :)

Avon; 360 Nourishment Moroccan Argan Oil - Shampoo & Conditioner
I don't usually purchase from Avon, however I had a glance in my brochure and noticed they had new Moroccan Argan Oil products. I've recently heard a lot of good things about Moroccan Argan Oil, such as how it's meant to strengthen hair and help speed up hair growth. As I dye my hair and apply heat to it quite frequently it is very dry and brittle and occasionally breaks off when I brush it, so at a very cheap price of £1.40 per bottle (250ml each), I thought I'd give the Moroccan Argan Oil Shampoo & Conditioner a go! For the price I wasn't expecting much, but even after 2-3 washes I started to notice improvements. My hair felt smoother and stronger, and doesn't really break off anymore when I brush it. I've also noticed it's made my hair look shinier without making it look greasy, it also smells nice! My hair definitely looks a lot healthier than it did. Overall very impressed with this product for the price! :)

Rimmel London I love lasting finish Nail Varnish
I love love love buying nail varnishes, like most 'girly girls'. I have been looking for a lovely lilac nail varnish for a while, and finally came across Rimmel London I love lasting finish nail varnish in shade- 702 MARSHMELLOW HEAVEN. It's such a gorgeous colour, and for only £1.99 in Superdrug I thought I'd give it a go. It is now one of my favourite nail varnishes as it dries really quickly unlike most nail varnishes I have previously purchased, and the brush is a really nice size so it applies evenly. You don't necessarily even have to apply more than one coat (but I applied 2 anyway). It is also meant to last 10 days without chipping! So far so good, lets see how that goes... Will definitely be trying different colours in this brand in the future! :)
